Blog 9: Imagine

The song Imagine, by John Legend is about a perfect world. Everyone in The Giver thinks they live in a perfect world. Jonas is realizing it isn't so perfect. The people in charge has taken almost everything away. When Jonas is experiencing all the memories, he sees how much joy and anger there is. They took a the things away to keep everyone safe. They might be safe but there isn't a lot to do to enjoy yourself. Like most sports are physical. To them it would be not safe. They wouldn't have a verity of sports they can choose from. They would play golf. I like mini golf but regular golf is so boring. I wouldn't want to play golf. They don't have a perfect world at all. There is so many problems wrong but since they are used to it they think it is perfect.
